The core application of this 68tex fiberglass laid scrim is as the reinforcement layer laminated into PVC flooring​ — both PVC Sheet Floor and PVC Roller Floor, produced by calendering, extrusion, or other manufacture progress. It is laminated into the PVC stack to:

Prevent Joint Separation & Bulge from Thermal Expansion

PVC flooring materials expand and contract with temperature. The scrim’s low elongation and multi-directional tensile restrain differential movement between adjacent floor pieces, avoiding joint gaps or surface bulging that compromise floor appearance and function.

Improve Throughput on PVC Lines
