Primary Use: Directionally Tuned Reinforcement for Rectangular-Grid Laminates

The core application of this 3×1 ENDS (3.3×10 mm) rectangular laid scrim is as the hidden tensile grid laminated into or between​ foil–kraft, non-woven mats, PVC carriers, and technical textile stacks where the converter wants differentiated MD/CD reinforcement rather than a symmetric square mesh. It is laminated into the host stack to upgrade mechanical performance at very low GSM, turning fragile or limp substrates into composites that survive handling, converting, and in-service loads. The 3×1 ENDS fine-by-coarse rectangular layout is particularly useful on laminating or winding lines where one axis sees dominant stress (e.g., machine-direction on laminators, or a bias direction on wraps).
