Primary Use: Directionally Tuned Reinforcement for Laminating & Winding Stacks

The core application of this rectangular-mesh (1.6×0.8 ENDS, 6.25×12.5 mm) laid scrim is as the hidden tensile grid laminated into or between​ foil–kraft, non-woven mats, flooring carriers, and technical textile stacks where the converter wants differentiated warp/weft reinforcement rather than a symmetric square mesh. Tune Reinforcement Ratio to Directional Stress

The 1.6×0.8 ENDS layout lets the MD-heavier or CD-heavier bias be set at the scrim stage, so the composite sees balanced or deliberately biased tensile where the process or end-use calls for it (e.g., machine-direction on laminators, circumferential on wraps).

Maintain Dimensional Stability & Tear Resistance

The scrim’s low elongation and multi-directional (rectangular) grid keep the laminate from cupping, wrinkling, or tearing at handling and in-service loads — preserving flatness on flooring carriers, foil facings, and non-woven composites
