The core application of this scrim-reinforced nonwoven CM3 * 10PH is as the dual-layer reinforcement mat laminated into or behind the wear/print layer of composite flooring (PVC sheet/roller flooring) and TPO roofing membranes. It is integrated into the product stack to:
In PVC composite flooring, the mat’s low-elongation glass scrim restrains differential movement between floor pieces caused by heat expansion/contraction, avoiding joint separation or surface bulging that compromises appearance and function. The SBR bond keeps the non-woven and scrim united through calender/extrusion.
In TPO roofing, the mat adds multi-directional tensile and tear resistance under wind uplift, foot traffic, and thermal cycling, while the non-woven face improves polymer adhesion and provides a uniform backing that resists wrinkling during membrane laying.
Because the composite is optimized for PVC and TPO matrices, it bridges the interface between the polymer top layer and any substrate or backing, reducing delamination risk in both flooring and roofing systems.
